I am Naghme
Naghme means melody and I play the melody of the puppets.
I am a female Iranian artist. . The soil of no place in the world has buried life as much as the soil of Iran. In my country, the colors are suffocated in monotonous gray. Art gives me the power to evoke the dream of a life full of color and dreams for myself and all the powerful women of my land .
I make my dreams, the dream of a life full of happiness, poetry, hope and humanity. My colorful masks & puppets are contemporary works inspired by Iranian carpet patterns and represent the vibrant Iranian culture.
